Far Northern Region regular Recruitment Course. Each course is six full face-to face days plus 2-3 hours a week of self-paced eLearning.
The recruitment course is mapped to the nationally accredited Certificate II in Public Safety (SES) – PUA20219. Students will receive their Certificate II after full completion of the course and continuing engagement with their local SES Group.
The next 2023 Recruitment Course date is:
Complete the online form to indicate your expression of interest in joining the SES and committing to undertake the Yankee course.
You will then be contacted ASAP to discuss your EOI and the next steps in your application to become a SES Member and attending your Recruit Course.
At the completion of the Recruit Course, you will be awarded with your first Rank and will be transferred to your SES Group as an operationally ready new SES Member.
Recruit Courses are typically conducted in the Cairns and Tableland areas depending on the home location of the majority of recruits on that course.
